Safety is our passion and we wish to be able to share this passion with as many industries as possible, so our goal is to develop courses for all industries in Northland, and across New Zealand.

Building & Fire Services began delivering training in 2009 but soon developed a secondary business solely for training as the need for safety training in Northland grew, thus establishing Training 4 Safety.
With over 25 years’ experience in the building and fire protection industry, the team have the edge you need to efficiently meet fire safety and compliance standards.
We have a state-of-the-art training centre with smart televisions and the latest technology with practical equipment being available on site, including live simulation and virtual reality options.
Or if face-to-face doesn’t work for you, we have online training options available. Our LMS is an interactive web-based training platform, hosted on a private server supported with videos, on-screen reference material, and assessments throughout.

We understand that our clients have a business to run and clients of their own that need their attention. Taking their staff off the job is a time and revenue cost which is why we happily train on-site, to help mitigate this cost and limit any worker downtime.

We have our own cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) platform and hosted on private, secure servers, that achieves maximum results and learning ability by using interactive content.
The courses are accessible anytime, anywhere, on all forms of mobile devices, and include testing and certifications, with options to deliver multiple scenario-based video and safety/emergency procedures.
We provide competency-based learning as the trainee is taken out of a purely theory-based learning situation. This allows the trainee to have a more practical learning experience, so they are able to feel confident once utilising their training in a real-life scenario.
Our clients have different strategies, staff, work environments, timings and needs, so we work with them to best deliver the training to suit their specific training requirements, in terms of content, scheduling, location and even payment structure. These customisations may include branding, photography of your site or completely tailored training, adapted for your team.
Our trainers are highly skilled and experienced, both through certification and their own training, but also highly competent through industry experience.
