Do you need Refresher Training? Check if you have Achieved Unit Standards for a Course
Not sure whether you need to do training for Unit Standards or just need to do a refresher? Here is a handy blog post that shows how to check if you have achieved Unit Standards or not.
Firstly, you need to visit nzqa.govt.nz and select LOGIN.
If you have an account already, select Students & Learners Login. Alternatively, if you have not created an account before, select New Users: Register Now
If you remember your National Student Number (NSN) or Username, along with your password, enter your details and select ‘login’.
If you do not know your NSN number, you will need to call the NZQA Call Centre on 0800 697 296 or complete their online form.
If you do not remember your password, you can get another one emailed to you or call NZQA on 0800 697 296.
To register for an account, you will need your NSN number and date of birth to confirm your identity. You will then need to create a username, password, and enter your email address.
TO VIEW YOUR RECORD OF LEARNING
If you have received a qualification, such as a bachelor, diploma, or certificate, it will show in the ‘Qualifications’ section after you login in the ‘Record of Achievement’ tab.
To view individual Unit Standards and assessments, scroll down till you see the ‘Components of Learning’ section. Units are sectioned off into subjects.
If it is showing credits for training you have carried out, you do not need to repeat that Unit Standard. If you are required to repeat the training as per law/your employer, you will only need to do a refresher training which does not award credits and does not need to be a Unit Standard/NZQA course.
After you complete training that offers Unit Standards, it may take a number of weeks for it to show in your Record of Achievement.
